A few of my friends saw them live a few weeks ago and said they were brilliant! You're probably in for a good night

I hope you have a good night Marie.
But I didn't think much of them when I saw them live.
They were terrible at T in the Park.

Not long back from the gig. Fratellis were great, but the sound was *' awful!! People always slag off the SECC but iv'e never thought the big hall was that bad, sound wise. Saw Oasis, Snow Patrol, U2, Simple Minds, & Embrace, all in the biger hall, & the sound has never been an issue (albiet it's not exacty The Barras, or the Carling) But the sound 2nite was really, really, poor.

I enjoyed the gig, the sound wasn't the best and with not being a fan of The Fratellis I did enjoy it none the less.Good show by them.:50:

A bit of mixed feelings about Sergeant, having never heard them before I found some of their set good, other songs not so good.

Ended up getting covered in beer last night....at least I hope it was beer :97: got up this morning to notice that I also had blood on my jacket and trousers, the wee skirmish behind me must have been more than I thought it was.

Anyway....I was pretty pleased with the night, it went well enough and I would go see them again.:celt_2:

The same happened to me with the beer. Mince (The Drummer) was on fire during Hippy. Btw, if you saw a teen with a red Fratellis shirt on wearing glasses, that was me.

You know, I think I might have seen you, you were the guy totally rocking out? :icon_mrgreen::50:

I'll tell you what did surprise me, the vast age range of people at the gig, there was wee kids, say about 7-8 ish right up to people who I reckon must have been about 60 ish.

Before I went I thought maybe Helen and I would look out of place in a bunch of young people but it really was a mixed lot.....so good to see all different generations enjoying themselves at a gig :celt_2:

Maybe, I was the one who got a stitch during Chelsea Dagger :56:

Did the person you were thinking of have brown hair?

Yeah, but Dagger is one of songs that can get on your nerves after a while.

Mince was just on fire that night. Btw, I got the limited edition of "A Heady Tale" through the post.

Aye, limited to 1000 copies :)

Where I was standing, it was packed, I kept getting inadvertently pushed into people, mostly females lol. So you can guess what happened then.
