What the * did I watch last night?! I know we've all touched on it but this is by far the worst bunch yet.

Tim Nice But Dim had to go, unbelievable :s:

I think Grainne has a bit to offer though, carries herself well.

Guy probably can't remember where he lives yet alone the price of a bit of rock...

It was fun to watch in previous seasons, this season I'm getting serious cringe and fast forwarding through parts. Tall brunette is a looker right enough!

The latest episode was *. The boardroom bores me now. Can tell I'll eventually stop watching it.

I think having the same old "good for tv" type candidates has ruined it. Would be less infuriating to watch if they used 20 good candidates who actually had a chance of winning.

Paul's a bit of a * but he strikes me as the sort of guy that Alan Sugar "reminds him of himself" so he'll probably go far.

I hate it when he comes out with that pish, he's only stroking his own ego.

To be honest, one of my attractions to this show was always that it had a bit more class and 'seriousness' than other reality TV pish, but to be honest it's becoming an ever increasing freak show like everything else.

Half of them are clearly * idiots and only thrown on for comic value.

Still. good TV nonetheless, you can always tell who the early casualties will be and true to form they are being weeded out already.

I expect the hot, quiet Irish girl to win.

That is the same with every Mark Burnett show though. The casting in any of these shows, and the Apprentice is no different, is that, at most, there are only ever going to be 5-6 that are serious contenders to win, and others that are cast for a variety of purposes. Mark Burnett's shows are all built to this frame work, because the producers couldn't give a fiddlers about who wins, only about making entertaining TV.

Which, by your own admission it is successful at, as it makes for 'good TV'. :)

And the format guides itself also to keep with this, as, this competition is not really contestant v contestant, no matter how much it is promoted as such. Because it is Alan Sugar that makes the ultimate decisions every week, and ultimately determines who wins. Not the contestants. There are countless examples of contestants that have been cut prematurely, simply to keep in some braggant or blaggard in the running. Alan Sugar is a very successful buinessman, and it is in his interests not only to pick the person he wants at the end of each season, but also to make sure that the show remains entertaining and thus keeping contestants that we all shake our heads at their idiocy all too often, so that the show as a whole continues for as long as possible, as it not only raises his own profile but also lines his pockets with additional luchre.

If the players were the ones to eliminate each other that would be, well, Survivor in Buisness Suits, instead of The Apprentice.

Can't believe how bad both teams were on the jeans challenge. Its the same with selling tasks. Why does no one have a set price? They all just go crazy and do 2 for £5 or 2 for £7. Its madness.

One team has a shopper with a budget of £5k and the other team managed to get their shopper to double her budget and had a total sale of just over £1k. That task was obviously fixed

They didn't have anyone else with a similar budget?

I would think if they had someone with the same budget and failed to get him to spend it would have been highlighted

Another pretty useless effort. All the guys look like they work in Arnold Clark, which immediately puts me off them. I keep watching though.

    Grainne still my favourite.

I am surprised Karthik is still in the process. Rebecca has been in the board room the most and somehow shes still fighting. Think if shes on the losing side next week then shes gone.
