Started it yesterday and on level 12 so far.Was going to go a Breton with heavy armour but reverted back to type and wood elf with light armour, like the speed when you need it.What does everyone else prefer?Wee tip that some might not know,if you want to level up your smithing fast so you can create best weapons and armour buy as much leather straps and iron ingots every day off blacksmiths and forge iron daggers then sell them back to the blacksmiths to get rid. Will have Dragon armour in no time.

i went dark elf (this time and on 360). i find the fire damage protection to be one of the most useful perks and saves having to enchant an item to include it later in the game.

Always love using a bow and sneaking around. In close combat, one handed and a shield.

I'm with Deer Hunter. Partial to a big of magic, too.

    I love this game.

Sword in each hand and a bow and level up sneak until you're practically invisible. Will try heavy armor and big broadsword one day though.

It's now £25 in game for anyone that wants to pick it up on the cheap.

    Great value for money :50:

This got delivered today, gonna stick it on later haven't played it for quite awhile now so looking forward to the graphical upgrade. Really gutted about the lack of mods available for PS4, I know I really should get onto PC gaming but consoles are convenient for me.

Anyone else still playing? One thing that always always annoyed me about this game was the clothing and armour some of it looks absolutely terrible and really isn't very practical in regards to the environment. Was it really that hard for Bethesda to include cloaks with the armour? I hate the armour that also exposes parts of the arms and legs, bad anyway its a minor complaint.

Need to get into this, but think it'll be a Longie, so once I have some of the shorter games out the way then will play it.

Hope it's like The Witcher 3.

The only similarities to The Witcher 3 are that fact it's open world and it's a fantasy setting.

The main plot isn't very good and is really there to facilitate the side quests and exploration - but that's where the game is at it's best. The world is fantastic and it has a * load of side quests. Obviously you make your own character as well.

I personally think The Witcher 3 is better than Skyrim but they're both incredible.

I'd have Skyrim just ahead of The Witcher. As you say, the story in The Witcher is superior, but the sense of exploration in Skyrim is far better and to me the game just feels like it has more depth to it.

I still need to finish both games, though :fear:

Thought the game was cack, have to admit between this and FAllout 4, won't ever go near another game from that developer.

I think I need something with a strong story behind it, wandering around having dim witted conversations to people did my box in.

    Witcher 3 for me.
