    Funny how a few images of teletext can mentally transport me back to the living room I grew up in. :)

    Superb stuff!

    It's be interesting to see a poll of the TC members, who actually remembers using it and who didn't?

    The pain I'd feel as a youngster when you saw the score of the Celtic game on page 1/9 but only just saw the score before you could read the details... The wait was unbearable at times.

    The interesting thing is, up until a few years ago there was hardly any surviving images from teletext, till the creator of the archive figured out any VHS that recorded the telly, had also recorded the encoding for the teletext at the time, and with a bit of software he managed to decode it and create the archive.

    Which reminds me... mind this? Beehive Bedlam on Sky!

    These are brilliant. Definitely a throwback to my teenage years and if it was stormy you would get a * up page with missing paragraphs. I tried phoning Apollo travel for that £119 deal and no * is answering. Just have to keep trying because at them prices they have to be busy.

    It always felt like Van hooijdonk scored all Celtic goals, maybe it was just his name stood out but he was a beast on Teletext :56:. Me and my mate would spend the whole weekends just watching latest scores on Teletext.
