i like him his movement and technique was good but he just wasnt dominant enough, quite man personality wise, seemed timid, cant have a timid player at celtic, celtic need strong minded players

striking job is different nowadays and pukki kind of exemplifies it for me a decent forward playing for a small country his all round forward play and technique is very good

in scotland our forwards are all about goals where as abroad its much more about the all round game and technique, the art of football sort of

Always liked Pukki. Obviously a very decent player there and his technique was good, but as others have said he lacked the mentality and never looked really up for it. Probably choked a little bit.

Not sure where the animosity comes from. Nice guy whose doing well.

He was at us at a time when we really struggled up top imo. Maybe could have stuck it out and done better?

Rogic, McGregor, Ajer, Christie just a few that not too long ago we would have gave up on

Only reason he never made it here was because he was a GOAT among sheep.

He looks like he's a relation of Naismith these days. For that alone we made the right decision.

No coincidence that Pukki is an anagram of Pler

I'd rather be sporting that welcome mat barnet than his Naismith effort now.

    Interest shown by Galatasaray:

It's quite possible Deila didn't want to keep him, but Pukki himself didn't seem very keen on coming back, either. After about half a year on loan at Bröndby he said he hasn't thought of Celtic at all since he left. He also seemed to be of the opinion he was not really suited to play for Celtic:

"Against Celtic everyone gets behind the ball. My football is more about running behind the defence and there was no room to do that."

So it was the best option for both Celtic and Pukki that he was sold.

He would probably have done much better for a mid table SPL club with more evenly matched games and counter-attacking opportunities.

He would have done fine for us if he had a better mentality. He was mentally weak, would fold under pressure. He definitely has talent but at a club like this talent alone isn’t enough. I suspect if he gets a move to Galatadary it would be the same unless having grown up a bit he is a bit more mentally tougher.

But it’s the reason all his big moves ended in failure - Sevilla, Schalke and us.

Him and Amido should have still been leading our line. Amido could have smashed them all out of the way to allow the Pukkster a free path to run in on goal with the ball.:87:

He looked like an F1 driver but never seen him go through the gears. He ended up being the pits
