    Welcome to you and to our other new friends from Finland and neighboring countries. Can some kind soul clear up how his name is pronounced. I believe that his forename is actually pronounced more like " tay maw" than "tee moo".

    So please do help us here.

    If Pukki had never been brought on as a sub and never been subbed off, he'd have played 12 full games and scored 8 goals. I doubt Stokes would have got near that, Stokes may have scored 1 or 2 possibly 3 if he was lucky but not 8, no danger at all.

    Pukki averages 1 goal every 136 minutes in the Bundesliga
    Stokes averages 1 goal every 142 minutes in the SPL

    That average for Stokes seems a bit off. Im not good at math but :43:
    Stokes still has what comes out to a 40.7% strike rate for us in all competitions (33 goals in 81 total appearances). Not bad at all. And you never know how much a player might take it up a notch if they enter a better tournament. Our players showed this when we competed in the Champions League last season. Compare those performances to some of our performances in the SPL last season :50: I think Stokes is a good player and may even turn out to be better thank Pukki. HOPE TO * IM WRONG.

    Stokes average's a goal every 159 minutes in the SPL.

    33 goals in 5248 minutes of SPL football.

    In all competitions he averages a goal every 146 minutes.

    49 goals in 7166 minutes of overall football.

    His overall record is better than his SPL record down to his cup competition goals;

    8 in 8 in the League Cup and 6 in 11 in the Scottish Cup.

    I was talking about Stokes overall SPL record for Celtic, Hibs and Falkirk 70 goals, an average of 1 every 142 minutes.

    Goals/games played.
    Goals/minutes played.
    Overall goals in a season.

    I agree and I hope he forms a partnership with someone new.

    I generally go with the John Hartson rule - either you score 20 goals a season or you're not doing your job. He's done this for us in the past and I know hes capable of it

    What is the latest on this?! I just watched his goals from 2011 - 2013 on YouTube there with some terrible music over it - i think he could be a goal machine. Modern day striker, pacy, quick, strong good in the air and on the deck.

    I would literally cream my pants if we signed Biton, Pukki and Finbo...

    Today's the deadline, right? Like, at midnight?
