A botched card game in London triggers four friends, thugs, weed-growers, hard gangsters, loan sharks and debt collectors to collide with each other in a series of unexpected events, all for the sake of weed, cash and two antique shotguns. IMDB

Don't think much is needed said about this one. Became a cult film as well (last weeks fear and loathing) and defines a generation of actors (Stratham), director (Ritchie) and fans alike.

Personally * was my favourite of Ritchies movies of this time, but thanks to @Minty I get to watch this onje again, first time in a good few years!

I much preferred * to this, not a huge fan of Lock Stock tbf, its okay but think Guy Ritchie has a few other films that beat this one as well!

I've got to catch up on about the last 4 films. I'll try to get it done over this week as I'm off uni for the week.

This is another one I haven't seen.

    superb film.

Tom was the best character in it, especially with this majestic dialogue:

Tom: Listen to this one then; you open a company called the * Tickler's * Fan Club. You take an advert in the back page of some gay mag, advertising the latest in *-intruding *, sell it a bit with, er... I dunno, "does what no other * can do until now", latest and greatest in sexual technology. Guaranteed results or money back, all that bollocks. These dills cost twenty-five each; a snip for all the pleasure they are going to give the recipients. They send a cheque to the company name, nothing offensive, er, Bobbie's Bits or something, for twenty-five. You put these in the bank for two weeks and let them clear. Now this is the clever bit. Then you send back the cheques for twenty-five pounds from the real company name, * Tickler's * Fan Club, saying sorry, we couldn't get the supply from America, they have sold out. Now you see how many of the people cash those cheques; not a single soul, because who wants his bank manager to know he tickles arses when he is not paying in cheques!

Bacon: So how long do you have to wait for a return?

Tom: Probably no more than four weeks.

Bacon: Well what good is that if we need it in six... no, five days?

Tom: Well it was still a good idea.

That could work out well. I've just not been in the mood for films the last few weeks.

Been watching a couple of different TV shows at night.

I feel that. Last two weeks I've been powering through Walking dead in time for the new season. Only films I've watched is the last few on here.

An enjoyable romp, but exceptionally cheesy.

Classic but of course * is better, still a great watch. Liked Rock N Rolla more than this as well actually.

One of my favourite films of all time, much prefer it to *. I think the dialogue between the characters is one of the best things about it. It's both witty and funny.

Great film, so many weird and wacky characters, great script, tremendous delivery and rapport between the cast.

Just started watching it again (for about the 10th time) and just noticed Steve Collins is the bouncer at the big card game, about 19 minutes in.

    Will put on again too.
A cracking film with its tongue firmly in its cheek. The dodgy scouse neds are a laugh & the ending to me is a bit of a nod to The Italian job.

Loved this film so much when I was younger, me and my mates used to watch this daily and get baked.

Could pretty much say every line in the film on point by the end of it :giggle1:
