It was a close call, just 1 point in it with most of the votes recieved. The last 2 votes blew it out.

I voted 4-1 The Floyd but well done to The Who..

Great competition, cheers for sorting Taz!

And some great tracks I hadn't heard before and enjoyed The Lumineers hadn't heard much of them.

Can't help but think the Beatles went too risky too early.

Would agree with The Beatles, they could have probably won it had they played slightly safer. The Tony Mowbary of song management so it was.

Voted 4-1 The Who. Would have been 5-0 if Wish You Were Here wasn't picked as it's the only Pink Floyd song I like, well that and Lunatics or whatever it's called.

I like it! I would suggest solo artist for the next round.

There it is guys. The Winner has spoken, the theme has been set.

    Solo Artists/Featured Performers.

I will create a new thread for BotB II, and set it all up there, and people can indicate their interest etc, or start giving some thought toward who they want to pick as their nominated artists. First in, first served.

Probably won't be starting this tournament probably until the weekend of the 8/9 August (?) - will confirm this in the new thread - and WILL be setting deadlines for the next round, but it will still be roughly 3 day cycles, so that so long as people are logged on, on average at least twice a week it should be fine. :50:

    By PM, lol.

The reason I put featured performer and not just solo artist is that am willing to include a singer/musician whose name does actually appear in the credit, and not just as part of being a band.

For example, if someone selected John Lennon, they could not use anything that was released under the name of The Beatles. However if someone were to nominate Paul Simon (for example), then anything published under Simon & Garfunkel would be acceptable, as he is featured by name.

Ifg anyone is not sure about an artist's status, PM me and will clarify this if needed.

    All clear? :78:
