I appreciate the point that we need to field our strongest team but we are playing 4 massive games over 11 days. If we expect jullien , ajer , McGregor , brown , forrest, Johnson , Christie and edoaurd to start the next three games I can guarantee we will be going into the 29th with injuries to crucial players. Aberdeen as it is a home game allows us to maybe start one or two of ntcham rogic Griffith's .

PETER GRANT has revealed he urged Fulham to sign Tom Rogic before the midfielder penned a new Celtic deal.

Hoops legend Grant recommended the playmaker to Felix Magath in 2016, when the Australian’s long-term Parkhead future was in doubt.

But Grant – who was No2 to Magath at Craven Cottage – admitted the German knew little about Rogic before he starred in a friendly against England.

The former Scotland assistant told SunSport: “He’s a big game player.

To be perfectly honest, when his contract was running down at Celtic I recommended that Fulham should have signed him, that’s how highly I regarded him.

“He has that quality to play, he’s technically very good and has an unbelievable eye for a goal.

“Probably the only thing you would say about Thomas is his injury problems. After talking to everybody at Fulham, they didn’t really know much about him.

Then he played against England at Sunderland in an international game and for me Rogic was the best player on the pitch by a country mile.


Then everybody is saying, “Wow he’s some player”. You need game winners and he produces in big games.

“When he’s consistently fit and playing weekly he’s very difficult to play against. Nobody can question his talent.”

I for one miss him skelping the huns. He's a big game winner esp vs them and should be getting more minutes.

we've had all month to get this man match fit for games like today, we need his strength and hold up play against them cause without him they control the midfield, how he hanst got more sub appearances this month than Johnston is beyond me.

 

Get what Lennon was doing by bringing on Bitton and perhaps with the knock to Mikey it was something he was forced to do, but really, Rogic should've have been brought on to help Eddie with holding the ball up.

 

Pity Tam didn’t get 30 minutes today just to see if he coul have influenced the game ?
Must be fed up off with the lack of game time over the last 2 months .

 

Get this * up to speed in January , he's a winner and a proven hunskelper.

 

As much as I like him I don't think he'd have made a difference today.

Christies lack of hold up and link up was a joke today.. He was due a bad game tbf but Rogic gives us that something different. I feared the worst for Rogic when Lenny came back and I think im right here.

 

So many clubs could use a guy with his vast skill and vision. Look at that rotten United midfield, for example, with McTominay/Fred and Lingard as the no.10

I think we play better football when he plays. He has an ability to simply make the team function well, and the team performances when he has played have been good this season.
