A fully fit Rogic is a major asset to us..

    It's just getting him there..

There's a lot of talk about us being alright in midfield.....but Rogic at his best walks back in. Still feel we're lacking that real playmaker and bit of magic..

Ideally McGregor goes back to the 6 for now..

A midfield of Rogic, Christie and Mcgregor is untouchable, providing Rogic is fully fit.

Will be good to have him back. I hope he doesn't take months to get upto speed though.

With Lennon's comments of seeing Christie more of a 10 and Christie playing out his skin in that role, I'm not sure he'll drop him back to allow Rogic to play in there. But the best football we played last season was with Rogic ahead of McGregor and Christie. That midfield will destroy teams in Scotland.

The issue is there is that Rogic is rarely fully fit.

It would be crazy to move Christie back given the form he is in and the way he impacts games.

In his best season Rogic had 12 goals for us. Christie is already at 8 this season.

Rogic is too unreliable and too frustrating due to his fitness. You never know what Rogic is going to turn up.

Australia have two WC Qualifiers in September. Hopefully, he won't be selected. Far too soon.

I cannot say I agree. They are not the same time of player. Rogic is an out and out 10 and Christie is more of an 8. Both players would be in the starting lineup for me if we were playing at full strength.

That would be my though too. I see McGregor as the long term successor to Brown in that 6 role.

I totally agree that is our strongest central midfield for me at the moment if everyone is fit.

I have to disagree. If there is one player we can afford to lose is Rogic. Always injured, when he isn't injured, he is not fit, when he is fit, he is not in form, Christie, McGregor and even Ntcham or maybe Sinclair are much more reliable and useful than him and at some points I genuinely forget he is still here

McGregor and Christie behind Rogic would be us at our strongest.

We'll barely see it because Lennon has decided Brown is starting 90% of games this season no matter what imo.

    Hes still very unreliable.

All the talk of "aye but fully fit he is class" when has he ever been fully fit for us? Even for more than 10-20 games on the spin.

He is just one of those players that is never going to stay fully fit. It is baffling really because when your job is to be a professional footballer then you should be fit and able to do your job more often than he has been. Its an old cliche but you wouldnt get away with it in any other job.

If he wasnt as naturally talented as he obviously is then the losses would have been cut years ago.

Same with that Daniel Sturridge in England. That one is an absolute mystery how he can miss so much of a season....every season....and still have a job at the end of it

What's his face for Spurs years ago? Basically had an injury that would never properly heal, so he barely trained and only played one game a week, but was so important to the team that he played in all the big matches.

It does happen that you get a player who is phenomenally talented, but brittle, so you have to manage them carefully. Until and unless Rogic decides to quit playing for Australia, we'll probably never have him at his best on a consistent basis.

I’m sure I heard he’s * off to Australia to get married in September. Good luck to him but once again he’s unavailable just as he should be getting back to top form.
