It's not that it's hard to understand for some of us; it's that we don't agree. Stats are interesting, but they are a tool, not the voice of * (sorry @ILoveTheCeltic). From my point of view, our best European performances under Rodgers were with a fit Tom Rogic at the heart of it and he did really well. I don't think there's any doubt he could do it in the EPL (he played brilliantly against one of the two best teams in that league). What I do have to concede is that, between injuries and the Australian national team, he is not fit and match sharp nearly often enough. I'm not sure an EPL team would put up with that the way we do.
