Is he still playing with an injury? Noticed against aberdeen in the final he was off the pace too. Keeps getting caught on the ball and gives away fouls.

Had a poor game but thankfully class is permanent and he remains one of our best players and one that can create magic in big games.

Will say it every time he plays for us against quality. He is not good enough to play his own game against that level of opposition.

Maybe because Brendan requires him to play a tighter game in Europe. Against domestic opponents he gets the chance and freedom to expand his play and be a bit more creative. Certainly in Europe it’s a higher standard of opposition but I think overall he is more than capable of holding his own when picked.

Thought his game against Man City was one of his best games in a Celtic jersey to be fairy. Literally unplayable that night

Doesnt get the time or space on the ball against quality to have any impact on the game and if he does get it hes nowhere near the goal.
Against leipzig he put in an industrious performance doing more dirty work than ive ever seen him do. But the Tam that operates between the striker and midfield linking them and popping shots off from distance doesnt get out of the pocket off top defences.

Did play well in that one like most of the team but that was one of the best games of football in the champions league in recent. Great flow and both teams going for it. We get very like that now.

1 game in all his time here where he was allowed to play his own game.
Hes never even assisted a goal in the european proper nevermind scored one.

Truly terrible first half, thought he’d be replaced at HT he was that poor.

Brown, McGregor and Christie should be the 3 in the next European game.

Was clearly using his magic powers to support Rosenborg tonight.

Was way off the boil tonight, as bad as I've ever saw him. Tbh the whole midfield were rank, Brown added a bit of steel after a shaky start, wee Christie wasn't at the races either and McGregor obviously smoked whatever Rog was on at half time as he was abysmal.

But I'm putting it down to a blip, as said he's already done it before against far better opposition.

I like him and when he turns up he's brilliant, but too often he doenst and his vanishing act after 60 minutes has got to stop, he needs to find a way to sort that.

For a player of his quality, he doesn't turn up in Europe as often as he should. He just looked so slow in everything he did tonight. Mentally and physically.

He was dreadful tonight, but his quality is undeniable.
