The Bear was ferocious, as both CB or DM, was completely uncompromising, rampaging, strong and always led by example. He was a big game player, and was always a leader. No question in my mind, he made others around him better. Think a bit like the way Scott Brown does for the team now, only doing it as CB

    Vote George Connelly

Although a little before my time, probably one of the most enigmatic figures in our club's history. Only have to read what his peers had to say about him and the regard that he was held in and his qualities as a CB, the guy easily could have and should have been Cesar's successor in every way, but for reasons we can only ever really speculate about why he fell out of love with the realities of professional footballer's lifestyle, but there was never a question of what he brought whenever he actually was on the park.
