Seen it last light, great stuff. The hun scene is just brilliant, really shows them up for what they are, brainless bigots.

was so glad they included the wee scene fae the original book with Begbies old man in the train station, quite a poignant scene.

 

I thoroughly enjoyed it what's the bets they chant 'that song' afore the seasons out.

 

Don't know if they'll be that stupid but I wouldn't put it past them. It'll definitely be sung in a few pubs around the land.

Went out with the missus to watch last night on a rare kids-free night for us.......really really good movie...i'd give it a solid 8/10.

Wee Bobby Carlyle stole it for me although they were all strong......he delivered the funniest, saddest and scariest moments for me.

 

This anywhere online yet? Not even sure when this gets released in North America.

 

After they reshoot the scenes so the dialogue is kinder to your transatlantic ears haha

I've never seen the original film, and wasn't planning on watching this; but I might have to ....................... Just for the pisstake of Sevco.

I hate how they give UK films a separate North America edit. Though I admittedly did appreciate the subtitles in the scene in the original when Spud and Tommy are talking about the Iggy Pop tickets in the nightclub. Even I couldn't make heads or tails of that jabber.

 

Seen it last night. Brilliant film. So happy it worked. I think the 20 years between the two films was perfect. Loved the nostalgia throughout the film, it was the perfect amount.

 

Finally seen it....was great in my opinion ......as a lone stand out film im glad they didn't try to copy the original.

The 1690 scene was outstanding...


and incidently....just before xmas i bought a second hand Wii U from someone in Motherwell,when i went to sign in online it asked for a 4 digit code.....i couldnt reset the original code,i found out that the previous owners name was Billy...via the questions and guessed his fav team was Rangers,the code was obviously 1690......* unbelievable....first thing i thought of when i saw the scene in this movie

 

It's on channel 4 tonight at 9.30pm.
