Know this is the Stuart Armstrong thread but Broonie is our best player and plays when available. Absolutely no chance of him not starting in the CL.

Boyata is fantastic with his head, both in attacking and defending, the best we've got in fact. But with the ball at his feet he is woeful and not worth the risk, he did this only in pre season remember at 1.27 of the video

    I'm sorry but he isn't.

Why did we go to all this trouble to resign him? Was it just to try and maximize his value when we do sell him?

same as petrov if I remember right Jeannie , signed a contract and shortly got his move but celtic got top dollar at the time for him , might be similarities who knows what celtic have promised him .

I think Armstrong is on a career path meticously planned , he's a brainy boy that clocked early he can play football well . he will earn millions even at a middle club in England and that's where his future will lie after he retires from football in his academic career , good luck to him .

He clearly has a bright future so why not show a bit of loyalty to the Club that gave him at platform to achieve. Quite frankly he was a nobody at the start of last season and now hes for the off. * um

It was the right time for Petrov to move, definitely isn't for Stu. This time last season he wouldn't have been anywhere near starting 11. Still lots of improving he can do under Brendan.

Feel this way too. Think if we were to get a decent offer then he will be off. Maybe i'm being harsh on Ledley here, but I see Stu as quite similar to him - a bit of a journeyman.

I think that's harsh. I think Armstrong is the type of player most teams want but can't find. Such a great football brain. Sees the whole pitch with a good range of passing and goals to boot.

Armstrong now finds himself as part of the rotation squad. If he wants Champions League exposure and to quash some of the uncertain mootings regarding his commitment to the club - it's going to take, at least, some very strong turnouts of the ilk we witnessed last season.

Ball is in his court, he's a smart kid, he'll know what needs to be done and we should see the best of him for it.

Very * likely, all part of the pantomime surrounding him at the moment.
