Hope so was unusually quiet in an attacking sense on Sunday, hope to see McGregor sit with Brown as I believe Stu is better in more offensive position

For all he was relatively quiet on Sunday, I actually thought he done his job extremely well. He and Brown absolutely bossed the midfield and controlled the game. They both cover a fantastic amount of ground.

Meanwhile, Stuart Armstrong is hopeful his contract talks will soon reach a successful conclusion.

'These things usually take care of themselves,' said the midfielder. 'It's nice for me just to focus on playing football and finishing the season well.

'You can never put a time limit on these things. There are a lot of good things about Celtic and this is the best football I've played in my career so far.

'Brendan Rodgers is here and the prospect of playing Champions League football next season is exciting.

'We can hopefully improve upon our performances this season and be part of this ever-growing football club.'

I tend to not notice him lately, but looking at the highlights it's easy to see how good he is. That assist for the second goal was class

Beautiful Sunday - the IRA version
Just like last week he was exceptional in an understated kind of way.

He really is growing into a wonderful player.

His role today was essential to how we played. His discipline allowed the front 4 and McGregor the freedom of the park. Never lost a tackle and almost scored a worldie

I hope Armstrong signs a long term deal soon, learns as much off brown as possible and maybe becomes our next captain.. all attributes to be a legend with us. Hard to match broonies aggression and intensity but that can come with more success with us

We play slightly different when you've got McGregor and Armstrong in the team both kind of play like number 8's with Stuart focusing on ball recovery and linking the play whilst McGregor pops up in pockets of space - Can see the drop off though when Stuart went off. He's just gonna keep getting better, got everything you'd look for in a modern midfielder

Just in from Ibrox and boozer, and watched highlights. Did anyone else see him singing 'We're Glasgow Celtic' at the end? Hahah

I have to hold my hands up, I thought last week he had a quiet game, so I was paying more attention to him yesterday. He was again seemingly quieter than he has been previously but he was playing a much more tactical defensive team role, which was never more obvious than when they scored shortly after he went off. I'm certain had he still been on the pitch that goal doesn't happen. Excellent team player and showing he can play multiple roles as well now. Get the contract sorted Celtic.
