    The second line was his personal thinking, Brendan never said that. Imo we wont really go for a CB before CL playoffs.

    Think Brendan will acknowledge a new centre back is a necessity. CL qualification is everything. Heaven forbid Jozo gets injured/suspended.

    Should be fine against Dundalk/Rosenborg. After that I would also worry looking at Eriks form.

    What is 100% clear is that we need a quality CB, even if Boyata would be fit I wouldnt be too convinced with our centre backs. The new CB together with Jozo,Boyata,Ajer and Erik will be a good bunch. That new guy could be Caulker and if Brendan thinks he is ready for a full comeback to football here at Celtic, then I trust Brendan.

    Players don't usually speak like that in the press unless something is happening.

    Surprised he's only 25. If it's a free, I'm sure he could do a job. He excelled for Rodgers at Swansea.

    Sooner we get Caulker in the better, and stop this fannying about, as we would need to get him up to speed.
    He is as hard as nails too and quite superb in the air, he would bully forwards.
