Discuss Stadium Re-Development....A Good Idea? or Not? in the Celtic Chat area at TalkCeltic.net.
Just watched that light show with thunderstruck playing.......we have a winner.
These lights looked good but not for me when the NYWA's on!! Thats sacred that is!!!
Can't mind tbh, could have said anything was never happening..
Well done Celtic, it helped build the hype of the game and it's a kudos from me
Didn't have the pleasure of seeing the lights in person last night, but every single video I've seen they look absolutely sensational.
Don't even care about the music, which in itself was decent, but the only thing that I thought it failed on was it being dark when YNWA was playing/being sung - part of what makes it iconic at Celtic Park is seeing almost every single supporter with hooped scarves aloft singing it.
They should do the whole razmataz stuff before YNWA, then turn on the lights...
Aye, or at least turn the lights on for the chorus.
That being said, I think those lights and even that music was slightly intimidating - was like entering a gladiator's arena or something...
Aye it scared us for the first 10 minute's
You shut yer hole...
I'd rather get it..
That can be arranged.
He's too easy..
You couldn’t afford me.
I swear to fekkin * , if celtic pinned a £20 note to every seat in the stadium some of you still wouldn't be happy
it was fekkin amazing !! the fitba was great as well …… THIS IS HOW IT FEELS TO BE CELTIC !!!
Aye sounds like it..
1 mention of your name and within seconds your on it like a tramp on chip's..
Good point. The light show is great and adds to the build up to kick off but when You'll Never Walk Alone is being sung with all the scarves held up I dont want to see the stands in darkness and deafening music trying to drown out the fans.
I crave human attention and affection.
Are you a robot?
Just a lonely man
I know some might say we should have spent the 2 or 3 million it cost on a player rather than the lights. With the lights we have a permanent upgrade to the stadium that we can all enjoy for years to come, we could easily go and * £3 million on a player that turns out to be a dud that barely gets a game for the first team (wouldnt exactly be the first time would it?). Of course the team comes first but on this occasion im quite happy with investing in something that clearly improves the experience of Parkhead.
