A few people positive before the game today and calling it right. I can't believe some of the negative as * posts before it started. I genuinely can't see where the negativity around the selection came from. But hey ho - a great game, A great performance and a wonderful result.

Well done wee Jamesy Forrest. Tremendous wee man. The trip back from Perth has been a lot of fun so far.

Hopefully the start of our season. The last few games we've been threatening a performance, today was beyond expectations. I missed most of the game but Benkovic must have made some difference, I honestly think our defence drags the rest of the team down at times.

whilst i agree with the sentiment overall mate i think today was slightly different imo. We did more in that second half than some in the past. For me, and i mentioned this above, St J made the mistake of fancying their chances from the off today and paid the price as thought they were pretty open compared to what we're used to. We hit them with a tornado in 30 first half minutes before Wright could respond and it was only at HT that he changed it to damage limitation.

Seems we moved away from dogmatic football, and it's getting us results. Just to be on the safe side, I'm praying for more bad weather in the following several months, to encourage direct passes.

Agree with all of that mate. :50: Just to clarify though I wasn't just talking 'bout this current Celtic team but thinking back to MON teams when we had Henrik n Lubo.

remember it well mate......amount of times it happened was unreal and seemed liked instruction from MON at HT!!

Don't know why but Didier Agathe comes to mind here too.....used to hold back when he had half the park in front of him and they'd have been eating his dust. What a job that boy did back then for us then and if only he'd a final ball (on the occasions he did get forward).......still brilliant for us though!!!
