Which I think fans need to level out their expectation that we are going to dump out 6+ bench/first team players and then expect a huge influx of players.

It don't work and never will, Rodgers aint that silly.

I also assume some major pieces are leaving us this summer. Regardless of who will be leaving, I'd bring in 2 CB (Fabian Schär?), 1 RB amd 1 LB. an experienced keeper would also be nice.

 

Think we def need a commanding CB that bosses the penalty area, a first-choice keeper, and I would love to see someone who can actually deliver a good set piece. If Dembele and Armstrong leave (think they will), I would like another young striker who can be molded by BR and a McGinn type engineroom.

So I expect Dembele, Armstrong, Ciftci, Jozo, Sviatchenko, DeVries, Allen, and Gamboa to move on. I think Rogic will stay, unless he has a next level world cup. I think Bitton will stay another season and think he is decent as a defense/midfield squad rotation player. I would love to see Bain and Eddy tied down with permanent deals and Ralston given a chance.

I hope Rogic stays but have my doubts. He will be a great loss. A summer of change for the next step to 10IAR.

 

We don't need a rebuild , we just need to trim some players not getting a game and add some real quality to it maybe 4 signings especially at RB and CB possibly McGinn and another wide player and Eduoard , gotta keep Dembele and Rogic' at least.

 

Agree with almost everything here, but I wouldn’t be in such a rush to get rid of Benyu, he’s only a kid and might come good yet, maybe another loan deal would benefit him.

I think we should do all we can to keep Rogic too, would hate to see the big man leave.

Then add a quality RB, CB and GK.
Anything else would be a bonus, or replacing important players if they do move on (Dembele, Rogic, Armstrong, Paddy)

 

Of all being touted to leave i can honestly say only Rogic leaving would devastate me.

I just dont think he can be replaced with our budget.

 

We need a top central defender who can actually defend and keep those beside him on their toes. Roberts probably wont be back but his injury and lack of playing time have gotten us used to him not playing.

 

Get Kolo to bring his brother up to be another player to win both Scottish and English top tiers and see some brotherly love haha (or yaya)

 

Unsure how good Ward is but thought with Mignolet leaving Liverpool he would be the more likely to come over on a free. Sakai is currently at Hamburg who will be 2nd tier next season (where David Bates signed for) is he that good? Liam Lindsay is a player I think Barnsley will want money for and we already have some talented young defenders, money should be spent on more experience in the back to steady the ship. Bain will definitely come in as back up on a free and I think it is a huge improvement on De Vries.

 

What about going for Ben Arfa if Rogic goes. Kevin Theophile-Catherine can play across the defence so on a free it's a no brainer for me.

 

Only slight tweeks needed on this team, after seeing on here McGinn's contract is running down I'm more open to getting him as then having Brown, Ntcham, McGinn and Kouassi and a big maybe on Armstrong would be fantastic in central midfield.

I really feel a better Gk is required and a RB as well, improve those two positions and it might just make the CB's jobs easier and then it allow us time to see what happens with Hendry and Compper, Ajer has done enough to be considered the 1st name on the team sheet for the CB role.

After that, then Eddie and Roberts should be brought in as perm deals.

As far as I’m concerned the club should be looking to take strides in Europe. If they can do that then domestic football takes care of itself.

Players should only be brought in if their likely to take us to the next level in Europe. That’s why I don’t really see the point in the recent Lewis Morgan and Jack Hendry signings who in my opinion are no better than we already have.

I would be looking to get a new Keeper, a RB, 2 CBs, a LB, a CM and a new striker (if Dembele leaves).

Holding on to players like Roberts, Rogic and Dembele would be great but no doubt very difficult. I just think it’s important that if they do go we replace them with even better quality (i.e. not Morgan, Christie or Hendry and players of that ilk).
