    Cardiff post mate, says he's rejected a move to City and that theyre now looking at Porter & Chopra. And that hes expected to travel to Glasgow for a medical this evening.

    aww please let this be true our strikers are a joke if you just watched that agaist ICT you cant argue they were drose both sammy and jvoh missed great chances. People moan about mcgeadys nd product no wonder th strikers dont move stanfd marked how you meant to pick someone out if they dont try get away from their man or follow shots in bread and butter stuff.

    Really hope its true m8. We need something different in the team and it might make samaras and venegoor play better. Besides that, he's a player that can hold his own and get in the team and hold down his own place. Saw a couple of his goals for Norwich last season and they wernt tap ins....they were crackers. fingers crossed.:50:

    There is prob more Chance of evans coming than Fletcher as he is nearly 2million cheaper and that is always celtic's prefered option

    Tamster, I simply posted what I read in a paper, not saying its true. Also Cardiff post is part of the South Wales journalist circle, so doesnt have a direct site. Big stories from all of the SW papers will appear on walesonline.co.uk, havent looked so not sure if its there or not.

    CARDIFF City are aiming to beat Celtic to the signature of Manchester City youngster Ched Evans.
    Bluebirds chairman Peter Ridsdale claims he is battling it out with the Scottish champions to land Wales striker Evans, 20.
    He said: "Ched is a player we're keen on and I know Celtic have an interest in him as well."
    He added: "We've offered Manchester City two options - a loan and a permanent deal.
    "We're waiting to hear back on that one and it would be nice to get him here.
    "Ched played against us last season for Norwich and scored twice so we've been aware of him for some time.
    "He's a Welsh lad as well and we feel he could be an asset to us
