Same boat as you. Just finished the finale.

    Thought it ended brilliantly.

I'll remember it as one of the very best shows I've ever seen

Still haven't got round to finishing this.

Actually forgotten where I left off, which could be a problem:56:

    Finally finished the show,perfect ending.
Doesn't need any spin off shows, let it stand alone like the wire.

I'm halfway through season 5 now. Watching an unhealthy amount of this show as of late. :52:

Read an article the other day saying Kurt Sutter was looking at making a prequel to SOA, that is set in the 60s, called The First 9. Would definitely be keen for that.

I just realised that it wasn't James Nesbitt that played Jimmy O'Phelan :56:

I was wondering why an Irishman had such a poor Irish accent :smiley-laughing002:

Also.. what the * was the point in this guy?

Got to be the most pointless character in any show I've seen.

James Nesbitt would've been great in SOA.

Finished watching it a second time. Hopefully will get a spin off for the first 9, but probably not for a few years, which would be better I think gives a bit more anticipation for it and so they won't rush it. Mayans could be a great spin off along with Nero and his crew.

I enjoyed her character. It was starting to feel a bit repetitive for me with the new law enforcement every season, they all were much of a muchness.

I liked that Sutter mixed it up like that in the last season.

Really? I liked the different characters. I thought Eli Roosevelt was a great addition to the series.. I was delighted when he was brought in because the actor had a big(ish) role in Prison Break. :50:

Well, I decided to finish this...eventually. Just watched the finale there and it was a pretty good ending,
albeit I knew that Jax died because I had it spoiled a while ago.

It tied up most of the sub stories well and I was glad to see certain characters alive at the end.
Really glad Nero and Wendy got away from it all with the kids - although the wee boy that plays Abel is * horrendous. It was great that Michael Chiklis was in the last couple of episodes and played an important role, I'm a fan of his. The final scene could have been better. Nothing wrong with him killing himself or the way he died, but there was horrible CGI with them showing Jax riding into the truck. After Chiklis shouted, they should have cut to the bread with the blood seeping down into it.

Overall, the show is good. Loved the first couple of seasons and I enjoyed all the other ones up until 7 which I thought was pretty poor for the most part.

It was decent end to the show considering how bad the last couple of series were.

I thought it was a bit arty farty if I'm honest but it was the right way to end.

Actually the right way to end would have been for everyone to perish, such was the lack of a hero. Even Nero was a *.

It's quite rare that a show completely sucks me in and has me hooked, but I started watching SoA a few weeks ago and it's brilliant. Still only on season 1 but I can't wait to watch more. What a show!
