    Guys , the last few months we,ve had 2 mafias ( back to back ) 2 or 3 drafts and 4 of these :party: best bit of the forum in my opinion but suns out and school runs end shortly so jonnybhoy is going to enjoy a couple of weeks of :lager: sitting in the garden . catch youse later :yeah:

    Personally i think it's more enjoyable when it goes at a decent pace, the longer they drag i tend to lose interest tbh, of course people have a life away from the Forum and cannot always get the time, i guess that has to be taken into consideration.

    This has always been something I've been mindful of when running various comps.

    My apologies if anyone has thought I'd been dragging intentionally or not as pushy as perhaps I may have been compared to the way the past couple of rounds of SQ have gone, but as Prof says, this is a forum, and although most people that take part in these are regulars, always mindful people do have lives outside of here also.

    A mate of mine, who was also the drummer in our band, used to say about Primus is that they are an acquired taste, but generally anyone who actually plays an instrument is usually a fan as they appreciate just how technical the level of musicianship all of their work is. Definitely some truth to that. There were times I would think to myself, hey, I've worked out such and such a bassline, only to discover haivng missed about half a dozen hammers (along with the ones I actually did pick up on) withing a 12 bar progression. Insane!

    Agreed. I play bass and guitar, but straight away I knew my slap bass technique was no-where near the standard required to play that. Lol
