Solo. A star wars story

Is out on 24th May ,watched a couple of trailers doesn't look that overly impressive .the guy playing han solo seems to be desperately lacking the charisma of Ford brought to the role .still * off after the last star wars movie

 

All the warning signs are there. All of the problems in production * that this film has gone through, reshoots, changing directors twice etc, and that was before TLJ seriously killed any faith or desire for this. Never been less invested or interested in a SW film - which is sad, because no matter how bad the prequels were, I just kept believing that the next film had to be better... how wrong was I? But after TLJ and the direction that SW is heading in under Disney, all the goodwill has gone. If I do end up catching it at whatever point, it will be with the lowest possible expectations imaginable.

 

If this is is as good as The Last Jedi it has the potential to be film of the year.

 

Was only one change of directors when Lord and Miller (lego movie and 21 jump street) were booted as they were likely too comedic and they didn't like their improvisational style. Ehrenreich is a good actor but just isn't right for the part which was shown in him apparently having an acting coach on set.

Would love to hear what Ford thinks as he wouldn't hold back.

By the look of the footage so far he's going to be upstaged regularly which doesn't bode well. It's a story nobody wanted told as their many more interesting characters from the old canon. A Thrawn movie for example could have great potential as we'd be viewing things from the side of the Empire and would have a darker tone like Rogue One.

I'm one of many who will be boycotting this as money is the only thing that will make Disney listen to the fans and realise how much they've * up. Kathleen Kennedy and her sjw bullshit can get to * out of Star Wars.

 

Give us a boba fett movie !!!

 

Think that would be a tough one to do. Only way I can think of would be a chase movie as even in the old canon he doesn't have much depth as a character.

I reckon the fans top choice would be the Old Republic. Would have a lot to play with including possibly the most popular character in all of Star Wars, Revan.

 

Boba Fett is the most overrated character in the history of film. He has a cool wee outfit but that's about it.

In the movies he was poorly utilised but he's an absolute badass in the old canon. There's a good reason my sketch cover variant of his issue of the new series of Star Wars comics went from £3.99 to over £100 in less than a year.

 

It's a wean's film about spaceships mate.

 

Id enjoy a sidious/plagueis origins movie. Wouldnt appeal to the masses but itd be a belter if done right.

 

I'm just going to enjoy the movie for what it is, a fun wee flick that doesn't take itself too seriously
