    Alex Higgins smoked like a chimney and shifted some amount of alcohol during games, many say that O sullivan is the most naturally gifted player in the game, but if you looked at Higgins and his cue action ( always moving never still lol), he had no technique it was just pure ability.

    Having a strong core and some arm strength will be a benefit to most players. Not as important as other sports though.
