    I miss me *.

Started vaping couple of years ago, still had odd * very occasionally but could leave it at that and was absolutely fine, but last year, especially last few months, slipped into old habits and smoking full on again. Certainly notice the difference when you’re spending £300+ a month again.

After 15 years since my last child, expecting our last ‘little surprise’ in April, and Mrs rightly says need to knock them on the head so started on the vaping trail again two weeks ago. Not finding it so easy this time, even bought nicotinel lozenges to try and help as well, but having a nightmare, can’t stop thinking about * even though luckily no one at work smokes so managing to stay away from anyone who does and the smell of one etc.

Starting to think I need hypnosis, but not sure I’d trust it, certain word or sound then I’m running up and down the street like a chicken.

    * thing about it is that what works for one person might not work for another. Just try and find what could work for you and be open minded. Hypnosis might help, you never know.

I’ve never been a smoker, fortunately. Bought a ten pack of * age 15, smoked a couple and threw them away. Always been glad I did.

    I smoke 2 cigs a day...sometimes 3.

I used to be a full on smoker.

I love a reek in the morning with a coffee
After my tea in the evening and one before I go to bed.

I don't know if smoking less is any better for you or not...but when I take one I enjoy the *.

I wish I could stick to just the 3x per day, morning, noon and night as that’s all I really need and can’t be that bad just doing that, but especially as you can only buy 20x * or a pouch of baccy, then having it/them just sat in drawer is too tempting.

I'm with you there mate...luckily / unlucky my wife smokes...if she didn't or we split I'd probably ditch them.

But because they're there I just help myself when I fancy one.

Said on Hogmanay that I’d buy a pack of * for the day’s drinking and that would be my last. Not touched them since.

Surprised at how easy I’ve found it, but I think that’s to do with the fact that I only smoked when I had a few drinks. Every now and then if I have a few I’ll get about a 10 minute period where I crave a smoke but then it just dies away and I forget it.

Never smoked cigs and can't stand in the company of people smoking cigs.

    However, I don't mind a joint...

Smoking is a filthy disgusting habbit. Never tried it any shape or form and never even tempted.

Would ban it all together if I was in charge.

Smokers, Huns and junkies would be shipped off to a remote island :bye1:

Such strong feeling for a guy who's never smoked. Why does it interest you what other people do with their lungs? To lump smokers in with Huns and Junkies is a tad OTT but i think you know that already :37:

I've been on the vape for about 18 months now, took a good bit of getting used to but definitely feel much better for switching from * to vape. The real catalyst for me was when they stopped selling 10 *, I knew if i bought 20 I'd end up smoking 20 so decided to give the old vaping a chance. One of the best things I've done, if any smokers out there are thinking of taking the plunge I couldn't recommend it enough.

I gave up the * about 6 years ago with no inclination of ever going back on them but I still love the smell of tobacco smoke.
