Watched today's game on the TV and it was obvious Sky were turning down the volume on our fans every time were started singing. There were times you wouldn't have known there were any Tims in the stadium.

In contrast, I flicked over to the Sunderland v Arsenal game and when Arsenal scored you'd have thought the entire stadium was full of Arsenal fans. The chanting came across really loudly on the TV as if there was a derby-type atmosphere.

Seems there's someone with an agenda at Sky.

Wouldn't be surprised if those in control of the mics during our games are Huns.

    This.

It's * hilarious sometimes, we start Celtic Symphony and some dafty in he sound booth is turning it down probably because he has been told it "sectarian".

I was at the Alloa game in the upper Jock Stein 3 rows from the back. Why I don't know but I digress.

The noise from the North Curve was incredible. You get home and watch the match again and you would be forgiven for thinking there was no one in the stadium.

TV does our support no favours at all.

Has it ever been this bad?

I mean you could have been forgiven for thinking there were no Tims at Pittodire today.

I can't remember that happening before.

It does Scottish football no favours either, making our games seem like boring, lifeless contests with little fan interaction.

On the other hand, the EPL mics must be turned up to the * max.

I loved SKY scrambling around to mute the "Andy Walker is a *" chant :56:

For away games yes, you hear us for the first 10/15 mins then as soon as there's any sign of the rebs they turn them down. Was unreal that you could hardly hear our fans when Rogic scored until they turned up the mics a bit. For home games I don't thin they even put mics near the GB.

    Embarrassing.

And we wonder why Scottish football is a laughing stock.

Everything about it is so amateurish and restrictive.

I was watching the Liverpool v Man U, and sky were so obsessed with the supposed "fierce rivalry" between the clubs that they were clearly turning up the crowd volume. The stadium announcer started talking and my speakers almost blew up. I couldn't believe how obvious it was.

I was certain Ian Crocker's commentary was going into overdrive there, desperately trying to talk as much as possible to cover up the fans :56:

I must admit I thought it was worse than usual today. Normally you can still here us as we're the only ones making a sound but even when the Aberdeen fans were quiet you could hardly hear us.

Every away game last season for instance we were by far the loudest fans in the stadiums even with their censorship controls. Sounded like we were being silenced today. Did get to hear Grace though which is always cool.

Will have to see what happens as the season goes on. If you can't hear us at Kilmarnock then there's definitely something up :giggle1:
