Had a half unit on Chisnall to leave me in decent profit on the darts. Suljovic threw it away. If he was even at 75% he would've won tonight. Usually class on his doubles and was missing them by inches tonight. Only narrowly lost too.

Just stay disciplined man make strict rules for stakes and accumulators. I allow myself one half unit acca for every Saturday and every UFC event.

Strongly suggest writing down every single selection you make and profits/losses for each individual sport so you can see what you're good on and what you're bad on. Writing them down also helps in avoiding chasing with big stakes because you know a loss will be written down and effect your profit if ya get me.

Also suggest reading the racing post tips for any given event. Free super tips is also quite good but I don't just blindly follow tips unless I really like the reasoning behind it. Paddy power onside app is also good they have Trader tips (basically pro punters) in the PPlayer section. They're not very regular but usually very good.

    NFL tonight:
    - C Browns vs SF 49ers: over 47.5pts @4/5 (0.5 units)

    Tennis tomorrow:
    - Rublev (previous post) @3/4 1.5 units
    - J Isner (vs De Minaur) @5/4 0.5 units

Over on the NFL lost but both tennis bets won

    Darts:

    - C Dobey +1.5 sets vs G Anderson. (1.5 units @6/5)

Anderson has been in sketchy form going 12-11 in his last 23 games. He's also said he doesn't feel at his most confident at the moment and has the excuses already laid out. Dobey is an excellent up and coming Player who brought Gary to a deciding set losing 4-3 in the world's last year. He has been practicing in double in competitions in preparation and was deadly on his double ins and outs in round 1.

    - M Smith win vs I White (0.5 units @10/11)

Smith has won 8 of the 10 meetings between the pair. He's easily the better player but could struggle with the double in again as he has in the past. Small bet.

    Basketball:

    Tofas +8.5pts @ Partizan (1 unit @10/11)

I know absolutely nothing about it but I liked what I read in a tip where the tipster has 4 units (max bet I believe or close anyway) on the selection.

    Football:

Coventry +1 @ F Green. @3/5 (1 unit). Got this before the line moved.. its now about 2/7.

Halifax win to nil vs Chorley @7/4 (0.5 unit)

Good advice. That's what I've started doing and I have 3 spreadsheets one with everything on and one with just my winnings and one with just my losses, and the losses spreadsheet is the most important of the 3.

Being disciplined is everything, How you cope with losses is key to keeping hold of profit.

The best thing to do when you have a bad week is take a step back, gambling can be horrible at times when you have one of those days where you lose every play, it's like being beaten up, you get this rage where you have such an instinct to try and recoup those losses and that is when people just lose all momentum they have had.

I agree about blindly following people as well it's just not a good idea, and stick to sports you know about. I've made the mistake of betting on sports that I really don't have a great deal of knowledge on, and trust me you will lose in the long-run doing that. When I bet on sports I don't know well then I have tiny amounts on them because it's a learning process.

You must be able to get better than 4-6 on the overs mate. Do you have any exchange accounts ?
I got a bit of 1.87 earlier in the week. I'm just debating backing again at 1.8 or doing it in play when the price rises abit n hoping there isn't an early goal.

I’m not really using online at the minute mate, and PP are the only bookies taking bets for the * games I’m doing so I just did the Brit game when I was in there out of convenience more than anything else.

You are right though I would probably be better off lodging a bankroll into my betfair account for most of my bets.
