    How many bona fide legends have played for us? Not really talking about top quality players such as VVD, as his time here doesn't amount to legendary status, good and all as he is at both playing football and stopping opposing strikers playing football.

    I'm talking about the likes of Jinky, McNeill, McStay and obviously Larsson. For me, Broony is definitely in that company. McGregor has the potential to be, as does Christie, assuming they don't jump ship to the EPL. Forster, Julien etc are fan favourites and rightly so, but I don't think they are/could become legends.

    I forgot Lenny as I didn't think of him as a post-Larsson player, but you're spot on, he's definitely in that company.

    Brown and Lennon reach legend status for me.

    Forrest could get there if he keeps this form up for this season and next, or If he’s instrumental in getting us to the EL final or something similar.

    Broony and Lennon are the obvious two.

    Right now can't really say anyone else deserves it, yet.

    If it were based on length of service to the club and their effect in big games than a wildcard could be a * like Samaras.

    After Brown, so long as they stay with the club and continue with winning trophies then McGregor and Forrest are the next two in line with Christie behind them so long as he doesn't get pinched soon either.

    Never know, Mikey could be one to consider in a few years.

    Hmmmmmmm, if he gets his form back what about Thumb?

    The likes of Boruc,Nakamura and Tierney are cult heroes,VVD never really stayed long enough to be in that company.

    So far it's Lennon and Brown - as far as Celtic legends go they're right up there with the very best of them.
