    Overpopulating is a problem and will be even bigger in years to come. I could imagine a scheme whereby people between certain ages can get paid for being sterilised. Naturally it would have to be agreed upon provisionally and then acted out 2/3 years later in case anyone changed their mind. But if the financial amounts were a few thousand, I could see quite a large amount of people taking it, and then using it to get a mortgage for a house or whatever.
