I'm going to try get tickets for this game, what section should I be looking towards buying ?
Going to have a child with us so want to make sure we're not in an area where it wouldn't be ideal for him.

Was in the main stand last year (West stand), was very mixed and decent atmosphere. Plenty of kids, families etc. Pretty sure they added extra seating behind one of the goals last year due to demand. With tickets €30 each this year, can't see the demand being the same this time round.

Despite some of the earlier posts in this thread, there's no need to be worried about any incidents etc. You'll be just fine with kids in either stand.

Think their 'ultras' are in the east stand for league games. @Ned Flanders may be the man to advise

Hi Marie, I had my two boys (6 & 8) last year with me. I sat in the main stand to the far right under cover, there would be fine. Temp seating would be grand aswell but the seats will be uncovered. Was a glorious day last year so didn't matter but if weather is an issue go main stand. It's free seating so expect the main stand to fill up quickly.

the away section with Celtic fans was really overcrowded last year and I wouldn't have been comfortable bringing a kid in, maybe it was just the far corner that I was in though further towards the middle of the stand would've been okay.

the rest of the stadium was full of kids, the away section is in the main stand you'd be best getting tickets for that and just sitting as close to the away section that isn't being overcrowded.

Cheers Ed, I'll do that then.....can you sit anywhere really?

That might spook him if it's overcrowded, his first CL frightened him a bit with all the noise, he was like a rabbit caught in headlights apparently.

Going to speak to the others going and advise them of that.....cheers :50:

Yeah rovers don't do seat numbers or anything just buy based on the stand.

I couldn't move at all in with the Celtic support last year, everyone getting elbows in the head when we were celebrating( 9 goals don't know how we weren't all concussed).

If the weather is anything like last year you wont want to be in an overcrowded section either.

I'm sure he'll love it, my younger brother and cousins were both there(not sitting where i was) and they enjoyed themselves.

    :56: sounds crazy!

I've been tasked as the person to order the tickets and didn't want to mess it up and get the wrong ones.

    Thanks again Ed x

What sort of a team do you reckon Celtic will be sending over?
