    Yes.

Joking aside, both are young, central defensive midfielders with very little experience. Project type signings.

We paid 3 million for Kouassi, so would like to give him another chance to prove himself next season.

Never really an issue in Scotland, kouassi was 19 with 18 first team appearances in Russia and no caps when we signed him

What part of Great Britain is Ecuador in?

    ...

I've just checked: it's in South America. File this under bullshit.

Then why have we had to loan out the two American lads then? They have work permit issues.

    They'd never played professional football.

    * me makes it worse. Still don’t players have to have potential to play for the national side or something like that?

I’m not sure with the scoring system but it’s not as easy just because of Scotland or we would be able to sign good youngsters from south America like the Spanish and Portuguese clubs

Juan Quintero is who we should have signed. 3.5 million is all River Plate paid for him, absolute class midfielder.

Very Lennon signing, and I say that as a positive. Always loved how he wasn't afraid to be adventurous with signings. As much as I loved Rodgers at the time, he played it very safe and barely looked outside England.

Ecuador play the USA this afternoon. Quintero looked like the pick of the bunch last time out, but in all honesty the whole team stood out. Right back, left back, centre back, wide left. All looked fairly decent to me.

It doesn't make sense to loan out Kouassi this year. He has a year and a half left on his contract, we loan him out for a season and he has no sell on value when teams can wait for 6 months and get him for free. Punt him now or play him next season are the only logical options. So, yes, he will probably be loaned out.

I imagine the deal there then will be sign a deal and go out on loan or leave. I still think there's a player in there, just lets not throw him into the hardest fixtures when he's not played in months.

Exactly the boys not had a fair chance under the rat. Hoping lenny gives him a shot in pre season to play his way into the team.
