[Draft] Semi-final - Minty v Mr Monaghan

I'll take Matthaus in place of Edgar Davids.

 

Sorry Monaghan, but Minty's team wins this for me.

Oliver Khan is a very strong goalie, but not as decorated or as class as Yashin.

Both teams have their weakest links at LB - as good as they were, they are the poorest two players in the team, but I'd take Ashley Cole ahead of Abidal every day of the week.

Desailly and Nesta are the two best CB's out of both teams. Marcel was a collossus, as well as being built like a brick * hoose, and Nesta was by far the better CB than Costacurta.

Cafu and Carlos Alberto is a tough call, but I personally have to go with Cafu (only due to watching him in his prime growing up).

Monaghan's deeper two win it for me. Matthaus would have smashed Busquets to bits, andeven though Makelele and Xavi are two totally different players, I think it more balanced to have two DM's breaking up play.

The both of you are playing with a front 4 diamond. Minty's wins it without even the slightest of doubt.
