I'm running a tipping comp on the Scottish Leagues for those that are interested.
Ambitious move from Dundee.
Young Seedorf looks a good signing for Motherwell..
Thought that myself, whizzing down the left.
Beaten by Dunfermline, scraped past Edinburgh City and lost on penalties to East Kilbride.
Jim Goodwin IS a *.
How much time would you give him mate ? I have no strong opinion on him personally, however I did watch the game v Dunfermline on BT and before it they were discussing their turnover of managers and it is quite ridiculous. They also discussed the expectations and how some around the club had said last season they were aiming for top four. Whether Goodwin is the right man for the job or not it looks to me like they can't continue how they are or they will be continue to be a lot closer to 12th than 4th until they get relegated.
He was * for Bradford last season
Horrible wee *..
Bitter we released him or something probably..
Didn't even know he was there to be fair..
Looked decent for them though..
Played a few games every time I seen him though he was *
I watched the game last night and he impressed me for the hour he was on. The other one that caught my eye was Hylton on the right: fast, direct and skillful. The striker, Scott, was worth note and has a blistering shot.
Don't really know anything about Goodwin but he did well at Alloa by all accounts, but he's taking over a pretty unhealthy situation at St Mirren.
Stubbs brought in loads of players, Kearney got rid of a lot of them and it looks like they still need to improve just to stay in the division. It doesn't help that their Cheif Exec has been bleating about going for Europe or top six or whatever. Their goal for now should be to stabilise after a load of turnover in staff (management and players).
These early games are basically pre-season, but it's not a great run of results, regardless.
