I think he's certain to leave this summer. He was definitely Brendan Rodgers' player and think with the new man coming in (hopefully Lennon), then he'll want his own players. To do that he'll need to sell before you buy

A massive clearance sale is coming. Think we'll be cashing in on Sinclair and possibly N'tcham too. The board will look at that is pulling in decent transfer fees while freeing up wages at the same time.

SS: Being part of the Double Treble team was amazing so hopefully we can go one better."

SS: "We're all very relaxed. The manager will pick his team and if I'm not on from the start, I'll aim to make an impact when I get on."

SS: "Everyone knows my feelings about the club and how much I love it up here, I was delighted to get the extra year here."

SS: "The manager has come in and he great. He's got great passion for the club. He's kept everything similar and made it as easy as possible for us."

SS on potential squad fatigue: "It's been a long season but this squad is used to it. We've got to keep going. One last push."

SCOTT SINCLAIR insists he never considered quitting Celtic this summer.

The Hoops opted to keep the £35,000-a-week winger by triggering a 12-month extension clause earlier this month.

Sinclair, who has scored 60 goals for the club, could have become a free agent at the end of the campaign.

But the 30-year-old will now enter his fourth season at Parkhead – and he couldn’t be happier.

He said: “I’ve always wanted to stay. Everyone knows my situation.

“I love the fans, I love playing for Celtic. Playing in cup finals, there’s nothing better, and I couldn’t have asked for anything better.

To have won these trophies and to be part of this team, I couldn’t have wished for more.”

Sinclair will be involved in this weekend’s Scottish Cup final against Hearts as Celts target an unprecedented treble Treble.

It will mark the end of a 63-game gruelling campaign which started when the squad hooked up for pre-season training back in June.

He said: “It all comes down to hard work and the winning mentality of the players.

Every time we step out there, we want to win games and we want to win trophies.

“By winning games and trophies, it gives you confidence. This team is full of confidence, and we’re always fighting for places.

“It’s a great time to be part of the club, but we need to make sure we get the job done.

“There’s always going to be criticism, but if it was that easy, a team would have done it before. No one has done it, so it goes to show that it’s tough

“With the game this weekend, it’s just about that one last push. It’s going to be a tough game, but I’m sure it’ll be a great game.

“I don’t think it’ll settle in with any of the players until years to come. First of all, we’ve still to get the job done.

“For us, going into this last game, there’s a lot of pressure on us, but hopefully we’ll be lifting the trophy.”

    * it, he has the experience and the stats to back up that he's a big game player for us.

He's been utterly dreadful for too long, time for him to kick on and start showing some form again.
