Most frustrating moment of today was when he got the ball on the halfway line one on one with David Gray with tonnes of space in behind if he got past him. I was screaming for him to knock the ball into the space and then run but he just stood there, done one of his wee fakes and then got tackled..

Needs to man up and use his attributes against these diddy RB’s.. he’s a lot quicker than almost all of them but never uses his pace.

 

He’s the most frustrating and predictable player I’ve seen. If he can’t pull the finger out his * rapidly then get rid.

 

Said this today to my brother you watch him get the ball and think please dont go inside there are 2 defenders there and he just keeps doing it . When he does take people on down the line he leaves them for dead so why does he keep cutting inside every defender knows hes going to do it .

 

He’d be half decent if he could play football

Goals or not - I’d get rid. Seems to have lost his pace. Has no fight about him. Get him off the wage bill.

 

Perhaps he's living too good a life getting to pump and marry Helen.

Another man that despite his obvious talents and goal tallys, seems to have regressed and lost all confidence in his ability to take on a man.

 

It’s no surprise the goals have dried up when he’s been dropped.

 

Hate to say it but he no longer excites me. Far too predictable. Defenders have his number as in cuts on the right foot every time. Should look at Forrest. Need better on our left.

 

4 goals out if his 17 goals this season were pens, 13 goals from open play in 50 games is OK but it's hardly anything amazing (then take into account 3 of those were all in 1 game against * St Johnstone). Harry Wilson who we were reportedly being interested in has 13 goals from 41 games in a harder league and 0 penalties taken.

As a guy who is all right footed playing on the left, all he can offer is cutting in and he even seems to struggle with that these days as his runs are too predictable and slow. Again, isn't a wingers job also to assist the striker? averaging an assist every 8.3 games!! Even when Roberts was here and liked cutting in, he still averaged an assist every 2.2 games while scoring 9 goals from open play in 32 games.

30 grand a week for a guy who has now been shown up by a fatigued David Gray and an out of position centre back playing right back at Hampden while they played with they played with 9 men, * embarrassing. Past his sell by date but knowing us he will get a new 3 year contract.

 

Shved will come in and score the goals next season, I know he plays on the other wing where Forrest normally does, but I want to keep him out there on the right

 

So frustrating man. Doesn’t offer enough for me. Everyone on here knows what he’s going to do, so clearly the opposition do too. You go in hard on him early doors, keep tight and hassle him after and he doesn’t want to know. Scared to beat a man, looks to cut in on his right, gets muscled off the ball. Same story every game. Fresh talent needed at LW next year

 

Harder league is debatable.

A league that Daryl Murphy won the golden boot and Teemu Pukki is looking like the Brazilian Ronaldo in.

 

The fact that dross from the Scottish game can often do very, very well in that tinpot league tells you all you need to know about its supposed 'quality'.

Generally, we should be avoiding the English market, unless able to take advantage of a Dembele-type situation.

 

John Mcginn looks like Zinedine Zidane in that division .

Incredible player in his first season, but opposition defences cottoned onto him pretty quickly, form dipped in and out of decent and shambolic.

He has been a disaster this season, and needs to leave at the end of this contract.

If we trigger an extension, I'll be livid.

 

Watching him with Izzy today was one of the worst things I've witnessed in the last 8 years
