I agree completely. He's a good poacher, not so good I would start him up front but he drifts in unmarked at times from that left side, he did the same when he got his hat trick against Aberdeen.

Should get an England call up. :fear:

    By virtue of marrying Helen.

Anywhere to find out touches per game or time in possession stats?

My thinking is that perhaps Sinclair sometimes gets a harder time because he sees more of the ball than others, so when he maybe does make a mistake or loses the ball it’s more noticeable?

Anyway, flying the now, long may it continue :36:

I think him playing on the left makes it harder for him to make an impact on the ball. The same way Tierney doesn't when Scotland stick him at right back. I can see the sense in it because I don't think he would score as much coming in from the right.

That's why I prefer Burke to Edouard just now. Although he might not be as good a finisher, he's doing the dirty work which benefits the team more.

Just heard that if Scotty scores 8 more goals this season then he'll break the goals tally that Henrik got in his first 3 seasons with us. Henrik got 69 in his first 3 seasons with us and Scotty is currently on 62.

I know Henrik had his leg break but that's some return for a winger. Scotty has also scored more than Sutton and Hartson did in their first 3 seasons with us.

    Mega respect to Scotty :shamrock:

He seems to be in the right place at the right time a helluva lot the now. Can’t fault his instinct for goals.

A penalty is the longest distance he has scored from this season.

I was just happy to see him taking on his man again... Been looking more like season 1 Sinclair... Excellent timing for his form to return also.

Big game for the whole team but I think the most recent Sinky we've seen could really rip it up tonight.....good Luck Scotty.

It has been interesting considering how many goals he has scored this season what a high percentage of them have been poacher type finishes. He has that I can recall not scored once with one of his cut insides into the far corner from the top of the box which is odd given he has 16 goals already this season. Hopefully he is good for a couple of strikes like that to come. Tonight would be a good night for one:)

Perplexing that he was sacrificed tonight before Burke.

Bright and positive with the ball for the first 30 minutes or so.

How he was taken off before Forrest or Burke was baffling
