We should have had the move sealed long before we did. We are a big club, but we are not entitled.
He was already in Birmingham, had verbally agreed the move. Mcginn didnt reject any offer, it didnt even advance to talks because he accepted villas offer which was already in the advanced stages by the time we got the finger out.

 

They all offer different qualities to a team. People were too thickle to see that. Laughable that a few thought koaussi was a better player.

You have to watch a player for more than just a few games to get a decent insight into what they are about.

Iv seen a bit of mckenna and i reckon if we could get him for £2m it would be good value. But i dont think the sheep would accept and i think he will end up elsewhere. Given the success of mcginn, more championship teams might be looking up here.

I have seen nothing in the games he has played against us to suggest he is better then or even as good as Ajer and or Simunovic. We certainly do need need for sure 1 and probably 2 new center backs to add to the squad for next season but McKenna just does not seen like being worth the kind of money that Aberdeen are going to demand for him given he is under contract with them through the summer of 2021.

 

He is a * joke! I do hope Aberdeen get a ridiculous fee from some team in England though.

McKenna didn’t have a clue how to defend against Eddy, his level is definitely Scottish football and will probably move down to a championship team for good money.

 

I'd take McKenna. But no for money. We could offload Compper and Hendry in an everybody wins swap deal. But it was Rodgers that wanted him, no sure if Lennon or whoever is in next actually does.

Watching John McGinn play for Villa this man is fantastic he never stops running even though he gets kick to shreds reminds me of the old Scottish midfielders, definitely a bargain at 2 million worth at least 10, my player of the season
