    Our most successful players have come for the experience, not with experience.

    If they have potential, I have no worries about bringing them to paradise.

    As for McKenna, I was hoping he wasn't goinhg to play well at Ibrox so he'd fall down the pecking order for our purchases. If we hadn't bought Hendry, I could see us moving for him. We can't take the gamble now on him. He'd be a huge gamble in an area where we can't take the risk. Most agree he isn't good enough and never will be.

    Boyata's big mistake was staying at City far too long. We signed him at 24 and he'd barely played any first team football.

    He could be a lot better and is only really starting to come into his own now. Still prone to the odd lapse in concentration though.

    Said it before but surely there's an experienced no nonsense cb at one of the smaller Italian clubs who could steady the defence. Just need to look at the impact big Maj had and he was hardly Beckenbauer.

    I think he would be class mate hes not a 10 million pound player for nothing . VVD went for 12 so he's basically as good as him .
