    Genuinely dont think Mckenna is half as bad as a few are making out.
    I wouldnt be opposed to signing him, but anything more than £3.5m is too much in my opinion and there would be better value elsewhere. That being said, if he doesnt move this window, i think he will become one of the best centre backs in the league.

    On the subject of centre halfs, stan varga wasnt necessarily the most technically gifted of players but he used his body and his physicality to his advantage and was a solid centre back. I think its important to have the right balance.

    He's nowhere near as bad as folk make on, at the right price he wouldn't be a terrible signing. Unfortunately the right price is likely miles less than Aberdeen will want, and will be able to get for him. With years left on his contract he's a stick on to go down to England likely in the championship. For what it's worth I think he'd do pretty well down there.

    Its getting to the point of sheer desperation that some would actually take this donkey, even if it costs millions.

    Such is the low expectations of a transfer window this board have conditioned the support to accept.

    I personally wouldnt pay anything over 2m for him, and even then i would expect him to be a backup. Hes only a marginal improvment on Hendry, a decent margin, but a margin nonetheless... and thats not much to * about.
