Wouldn't be surprised if his testimonial is more a legends vs legends game...

Agree that we missed Brown, but also good to appreciate that we will need to have a plan B in place, he is and should be the first name on the team sheet, hope that Brendan and the team are working on the replacement. (McGinn would be a decent shout by the way)

Being a wee bit dramatic, his form had slipped and in hindsight shouldn't have been playing if he was injured.. I think everyone slating him back then are delighted he's back to his best

Dont think there's any doubt that he'll be asked to join the coaching staff after he retires.

Would be good to know how long we're looking at with his injury and is Eboue close?

Missed him in the middle of the park tonight. He makes an unbelievable psychological difference in the team.

With another tournament qualifying campaign over in tears, I think he'll now hang up his boots and concentrate on prolonging his career with us for as long as possible. Just a shame that one of the best players of his generation didn't get to make a tournament.

He would be turning 35 going into euro 2020 so certainly could still be captain of scotland if he chooses, at the very least he should be kept away from any friendlies though until next qualifying begins. I think part of him would relish the chance to be first captain to lead scotland to a major tournament in 20 years.

Dono just have a feeling he might end up like one of those Italian players who end up peaking when their basically pushing 40:56:

I hope he announces his retirement from international football tomorrow.

Scotland really missed him. Fletcher is such a * captain and nowdays * player too.
Brown brings so much more energy and aggression to the team and basically takes the Scotland team up two notches. The midfield with Brown and Armstrong would have got us through.

Undecided whether I think he should announce his retirement though. Some players can play at their highest level for club and country and especially defensive midfielders. Pirlo was playing for Italy at 36, Gerrard for England at 34

Looks like he's staying on with Scotland if GS stays.

Starting to think him and KT have a bet on who wears long sleeves first.

Even when they sat out the Scotland games they were in short sleeves.

BR on @ScottBrown8 and @StuArmstrong16: They have come through very well, may be too soon for Sat but for Munich they’ll be fine."

Great news to hear that. I was hoping the international break might give them both the extra time needed to be 100% fit and ready. Sounds like none of them will start on Saturday but might be on the bench and should be good to go from there.
