You're right cause he'll no be starting any of them, it'll be Armstrong and Ntcham with Rogic in front of them.

I actually thought he had a decent game with the exception of a couple of moments (especially their 2nd goal). They were kicking everything that they could get close to and getting away with it. Broony just kept going and kept doing the simple things. Maybe need to re-watch it without the fear.

Heat * him. You could see his eyes at the end, pure red and burning out his *. Never looks lkke that at the end. Hes not there to ping passes, thats Ntcham, he is there to break up attacks and intercept. He does it wonderfully. No one better in Europe at that job. Stats in the champions league dont lie. Best in Europe. Just thinks hes inesta at timesmand * it :56:

I only really got to see the second half properly and he did play poorly in it.

Seems like some * do be dying to highlight it when he plays badly though.

I'm a fan of brown but being honest he can look ropey against a tough opposition when on the ball, always think he's great defensively but on the ball under pressure he seems to panic and make silly decisions/passes. That being said I still think he's crucial for us

Brown as much as I love him needs out the team for a while before the groups. At least I'm hoping he just needs that rest. For me against rosenborg and against astana over the two legs especially tonight he has really been struggling.

You just get the absolute fear when the ball comes to him and he has to make a quick decision against a decent team he more often than not does not look good lately. He will either turn himself inside out and lose it via the challange, play it randomlly into space and hope for the best or take a dodgy touch. Against decent teams especially if he is not rested he is going to have more ambrose moments like tonight to come.

Just watched the game back. An absolutely rank rotten performance from Brown, but not uncommon against decent opposition. Their midfield ran the * off him. He's supposed to be the example for young guys like Ajer and Ralston but they must've been * themselves with the amount of runners from midfield.

I'm sorry but bullying mugs from Hearts and Kilmarnock doesn't make you a great Celtic captain. I've got real concerns over Brown in the group stages. He's a great character but maybe the most overrated Celtic player of my generation. Technically very poor and not that great at marking or tracking runners. Work rate and determination only get you so far.

He had a good season last year but the reversal of his Scotland retirement is looking more stupid by the day. He's had various * periods of form throughout his Celtic career and his best run of form arrived when he had no external interests. He needs to retire from international football again and very quickly.

Thought he was good the first half but the second half was about the worst performance I have seen from him in a long time.

It puzzles me how you can be so confident about something that is so blatantly wrong

You're still due £50 to charity for the Tony Watt/Lee Griffiths bet we had last year (where you said he'd score more goals than Lee). Want to go double or quits on this ludicrous statement?

Just like he was being stripped of the captaincy when Rodgers came in :56:
