Sure there were some here who had suggested that he had basically been up to talking about homophobia against his will :giggle1:

Great issue to help highlight and great season so far from the captain.

First I've seen that video, so proud of Broony for being part of this campaign.

Got to say aswell as much as Souness is a *, his honesty that he used to get involved in the homophobic stuff in the dressing room and how he can admit he was wrong back then and he has taken time to learn about LBGTQ issues is commendable. Seen a few videos recently where he has spoke about LBGTQ rights/issues and he speaks very well on it, admitting his mistakes in the past and he has learned from them.

When Souness talks about his friend in that video who died 2 years ago, he was talking about Dale Winton btw. One of the most random friendships ever ha.

:50: I'm no fan of Souness but he has a big stage every week on Sky Sports and people do listen to him. If he can make even just a small difference in his generation or those who grew up watching him to be more accepting then even though it's a tiny step it's still a step in the right direction.

The more ex-pros who talk about LGBT issues the better but he seems to be making it a cause of his tbf to him. Seems him n Broony have had alot of chat aswell due to this cause together.

    Yup that’s true.

About time more people were speaking out on it.

I wonder if he's the pulse of us? In the first half his body language said I'm in charge here don't even think about it but in the second when we looked a bit like who gives a * he didn't galvanise as he normally does.

I still think he had the touch of the match when he trapped and passed an interception in one go, it's just bizarre how much he makes look normal

He was very poor today but all will be forgiven on Sunday if he bosses the team to a Hun skelping .

We really need to stop getting carried away because that's exactly the kind of sentiment the tabloids love. No matter how Broony went down today (didn't see it) he always stands up for every inch on the pitch

Hope Broony has a say in that signing, he's already training as a coach so how cool would it be if he understood what it takes to be in control of the midfield like he does and pass that info on.

He is massively important to us... however at this stage of his career it’s detrimental to have him playing every single game.

Recently he has been in excellent form but I thought he was poor yesterday. Some of his passes were woeful. He’s 34/35 and just played 3 huge games against Hibs, Hearts and Aberdeen. With the Hun game on the horizon he should have been rested yesterday.

I think Lennon struggles to drop him because we don’t have a like for like replacement in terms of his aggression, drive, leadership. Hopefully we can bring in a CDM in January.

Great first half... I'll let him off with the booking which he took to spur us on.
