He was very good today, looked focused and rarely, if ever, gave up the ball tonight. He was excellent winning the ball as well. But surely you have to agree that his performance in the first leg was not an acceptable performance at this level?

Of course I do, it’s aimed at the hyperbole loving throbbers saying * like that who I was arguing with last week.

    You can see he’s done,,,,

Most of their attackers & midfielders tonight.

Again I think it was getting back up to match fitness after his lay off, that was leading to indifferent games. He’s there now, I hope though that people will realise this game has taken a lot out of him & the others, man down for a huge chunk, so the weekend game might be more pedestrian.
Seems to have rediscovered his eye for a shot at goal as well.

Agree on that one, it's either black or white for some people on here regarding Brown or any other Celtic player.

It’s like they wait on any slight misplaced pass, then come on here frothing about how they’re always so right about his legs being done.

They felt brilliant after Broony was * against Valencia after his screamer against St Johnstone. Then a winner at the weekend, ‘still not good enough’, mysteriously missing from this thread tonight...

    Was excellent tonight..

But, shoulders a good chunk of the blame for our exit.

About shoulders, he was head and shoulders better than any of our midfielders over the 2 games, actually better than any over the past month easy.

Brendan needs to think about mixing it up with our midfield a bit, Christie and Forrest on particular who've went right off the boil and don't merit a start for me, Callum has been off form to but I'd keep him in and push him up top if Rogic ain't fit yet.

Christie was good tonight especially in the first half, McGregor was excellent too.. and so was Broonie..

The damage was done in the 1st leg tho and BR for his tactics and Broonie when you needed a Captains performance couldn’t find a pass all night, take a lot of the blame. Along with Izzy and Boyata..

He was great tonight but doesn't deflect from a poor performance last week, if he and the team had replicated tonight's performance over the two legs then who knows what could have happened.

Everyone of them were a letdown in the 1st game, no exceptions.

The midfield ran a lot but apart from a couple of runs from Callum (shoulda got away from parejo or at least shielded the ball) were nowhere to be seen going forward, Christie on the ball was dreadful summed up by that woeful free kick.

Nobody is saying it deflects from it, just proves those who were trying to use it as proof of him ‘being finished’ are * wrong yins.

Agree but just think we could use him better and he could be great in the games we need him most rather than playing him in games we can win without him.

Still think he slows our play down which in turn stops quick counter attacks
