He was holding us back all game, mostly because I think McGregor is more effective in that deeper role. His shot was going well over the bar too so I don't think we should let the goal exaggerate his performance.

As buzzing as anyone with the win but he should have been taken off at half time in my opinion.

Aye he was pretty poor & on a booking but I think we can let it slide on this occasion. He comes off earlier & we don't get that moment at the end. Just enjoy it.

Safe to say that’s pretty much what everyone thinks too. Match thread backs this up.

    But frankly, Slaw, I don’t give a *

taken off nothing, time again he comes up with important moments when it matters. think back to aberdeen away last season also. , many an old firm game need Brown on the field born winner.

Nah not personally amigo. I just settle for a poster in my room.

Myself and @Cena have already sent strongly worded emails to Spotify.

Enjoyed it as much as anyone mate. I'm pointing out that Brown is going to let us down in the future if Brendan chooses to let this blind his judgement.

At least when brown plays , he's noticed, involved in the game a lot of players go into their shells and hide but not him. leader and captain along with tierney they are the driving force and love a tackle.

He's actually been rescuing us though, St Johnstone away the ball to Weah, yesterday the ball to Weah again where the corner came from then the goal, got Broadfoot sent off as well - he probably wouldnt have attempted to do any of our other players. No goals conceded at the back in any games.

The ball to Weah in the St Johnstone game yeah fair enough. 'Getting Broadfoot sent off' is absolutely not a reason to consider.

I'd say it was, Broadfoot seen the chance to do Brown purely cause it was Brown if that was McGregor or Ntcham he'd have pulled out when he knew he wasn't getting the ball.

Tbh, mate I’ve being saying for a while now it’s obviously the beginning of the end. With everyone fit we are a much more fluid outfit.. and he will gradually play less over the next two years.

However, he epitomises what’s needed in our dressing room and I’m so glad he’s here for the push for the 10..

It's so catch 22, he needs phased out as out tempo on the ball is generally quicker and more fluid without him in that midfield 3.. but he's exactly what we need in terms of determination, professionalism and leadership.

Pros and Cons as with anything - i think he has to be used in selected matches that suit his style. Yesterday would be one of those matches imo. His dig is invaluable against a stubborn, physical side like kille.

It's gonna be interesting to see how the team play when he's sidelined.
This will either reinforce whether we're a better team without him or not.

Defo a hard one with brown... is it not said that he needs to be playing every game or he’s the type of player that “seizes up” per say? Can’t see him lasting the 2 year contract anyway, but aye the guys a legend and great role model to have around even when he does stop playing as much.
