Love him, but it’s clear we’re a better team without him in it now..

This is professional football and there’s no room for sentiment.

He’s a big earner too, has to be taken into consideration..

For all the talk about how poor Brown was, and I agree, for me, Ntcham was ten times worse.

I've heard some ex-players say Brown should have been subbed at HT with KT going to LB and McGregor in the middle.

Yes, I'd have put KT (or at least Hayes) on and moved McGregor, but it would have been Ntcham going off.

If Brown had McGregor in there beside him, it might have worked better and he probably wouldn't have been under such pressure. We were being totally overrun. When the whole team has a holocaust that suggest it's a system/formation/personnel issue.

That said, our best football and best results this season have come without him.

I see on Instagram Izzy went out to Dubai yesterday as well, imagine they are all off straight after the game.

Horrible match on Saturday, but I maintain that Brooninho is one of our MVP's when he's given the right role within the right formation.

Ntcham is a disgrace. I'd have had him off first before anycunt.

After we made our first sub through injury, and after Lustig showed how inept he is, I was actually shouting for Brown to go to RB and Tierney to come on to LB (McGregor back to CM and obviously Edouard was on) but nah.....

See when you read things like “he’s been a great servant” “would never say a bad thing about him” you know time is up if that’s the only positives we can come up with.

Scott Brown has been a very successful Celtic player. He’s been great for us and we’ve been great for him. Let’s not forget he’s been our highest earner for many years.

We’ve got to look after the club and team as a whole and it annoys me so much when some fans get offended when others point out the * obvious.

His decline, and the improvement in our play without him is as clear as the nose on your face. Don’t worry about calling it as you see it. I’m sure he’ll be fine, the guy has went through much worse in his life.

I don’t care what anyone says, but without Brown on Saturday that would’ve been a lot worse. Are we a better team without him now? Probably. But some of the * in here is embarrassing.

    Correct

Least he didn't hide throughout the game like the majority of the utter shitebags.

Could you imagine Lennon, Sutton, Thompson, Robson and the likes standing for some of that * from Morelos. Team looked scared which was the most worrying thing.

He was far from one of the worst and was firefighting trying to plug gaps.He was what we needed but where was the help? There were another 7-9 who did'nt turn up and those are the ones who we should be having a go at.I would rather have his influence/experience on the park and thats why i would move him to the left of defence as he seems to spend a lot of time there covering for lustig anyway.Where's the loyalty for one of our best players who has given the best years of his career to us.

McGregor is an infinitely superior footballer, in every single aspect, than McGinn.

Brown’s replacement is in the squad, he’s proving himself already, he’s embedded in the ethos, Rodgers loves him and he’s ready to go.

Mad how there's always a ton of folk critising players when they * off to the EPL at the first chance they get, chasing their next pay packet.

Then someone comes here and gives us his best years, leading the club to one of the most successful periods in our history, and at the first signs of decline a lot of those same * are wanting him sent to one of those Swiss euthanasia clinics.

*. What does 'time up' mean for you exactly. Being used more sparingly is a perfect arrangement, why this desire to bomb him out the club completely?? If we need to offer him reduced terms to reflect this then fair enough but you dont just bin one of our better, most influential & experienced players. As I've said a few times before punt the guys that have contributed next to * all. The mentality here seems to be McGregor first pick, get Brown to * and Mulumbu and Kouassi back up. Why not get Mulumbu & Kouassi etc to * first instead!!

His time is not up yet,but if we are going to play him it has to be a bit more sparingly and he needs better quality around him.......but i have a feeling he might leave.

There is absolutely no way we should be letting Brown go anywhere. The defeat on Saturday was not his fault. He tried until the last kick of the ball and was let down by other teammates in particular Ntcham. Celtic should find a role for him within the club. With his experience, attitude, and sheer presence he’s a great influence on the younger players. He’s got at least another year in him if used sparingly maybe two but he can’t play alongside Ntcham it just doesn’t work.
