Chances are the final figure won`t be that high. The media always claim the figure to be far higher than it actaully is. When JVOH signed the price was quoted about £1M higher than it was. This will prob be the same.

Still a lot of money. But if he turns out to be the player people say he is and not just another overhyped youngster I`ll be happy.

agreed martin he is a good propect... that is granted.
but ive saw him in the flesh 5 times this year by taking my grandad(a hibby) to easter road.
he just is not consistant enough,whittaker is consistant....brown ?hot one week completely out the game the next.
however!... he does seem to raise his game in the 'big' games and hopefully with better players around him he will blossom.
its just the figures being quoted....and yes! i do appreciate that they may be incorrect but £11 million over the duration of his contract incuding a fee of £4.4 million?f me! i think we have paid a little over the odds!
Riordan was the big prospect at easter road probably rated higher than brown!! we paid £400,000 i think..granted it was different circumstances but the spot the similarities??
