No matter who was good at what, and whatever style suited them, Bain holds the jersey and has did well enough to keep it for the time being.

I dont see how this can be the case.

In what way does he suit it better? The fact Gordon cant kick a ball doesn't mean he suits us better now for me.

We haven't completely scrapped the playing from the back either. We still need that distribution even if its lumping it wide under Lennon and Bains is still better.

It wasnt just because he was terrible on the deck he was dropped either. Bain earned his place.

Gordon's distribution was really bad at times, also he lacks the composure that Bain has.

Lennon loves a keeper that doesn't come off his line but is a good shot stopper just like Forster

    He's lost his confidence..

Been unsure since before the end of last season..

Needs to come off his line quicker and also needs better communication with his defenders.

100% agree. Felt we should be looking a number 1 and moving Gordon on.

I like him but a few occasions tonight he either wasn't shouting at the centre backs or they weren't listening..

A terrible recipe and the only time's where they looked threatening..

Starting to look more and more like a Dundee 'keeper. His kicking has been rotten since about March and he looks nervous as *.

Quite like the guy but his number one asset is his distribution and it going downhill, Would be a fantastic backup keeper but starting to think he should not be our number one.

Get Gordon to * anaw lol

Was a good save. Came out and made his self big instinctively..

Whenever he had to think about things and shore up the defence after that though....he was poor for me..

We should definitely be looking at keepers. Hes a fine no.2/early cup rounds keeper. But we can definetly improve here.

Always had doubts he was just having a purple patch. Seems to have ended right after his string of saves in Valencia.
Convinced at this point now he's a disaster waiting to happen.

Bigest problem I've had with him even throughout his run of form. Is that he has no presence at all in what should be his box. The quality of keeper we need in Europe has to be claiming that cross.

Happens when your getting used to a new system infront of you. Actually said during the first half I love how quickly he gets off his line.

Couple of mix ups but this early in the season, with a new system infront, that’s fine. Done what was needed.

Crosses are definitely the weakest part of his game..

Sometimes looks really small. Get's caught under it, rooted and has to really flap/punch it anywhere..

Does for moment's like that. Doesn't for crosses though..

I was really content with him as number 1. Even excusing some mistakes under Lenny as a different way of playing but he's looked ropey for a period now..

Hopefully get's it out his system..
