I think he's an average keeper. We've had much better in recent years. Key position in European matches and v Sevco.

It’s gonna he excruciating if he is ordered to play hoofball up the pitch this season...the Forster-esque distribution gives me the heeby jeebies.

His ability to move the ball quickly and accurately with his feet is his main attribute. Perfect for Rodgers style of football, maybe not so much for Lenny?

Lenny did praise him a lot in the run in last season as he made some vital saves in tight matches.

Gordon is a proven shot stopper but Bain has looked every bit as capable.

Bain has far superior close ball control and is much more comfortable playing out from the back

    Gordon has better long balls

We haven't been great at defending crossed or corners but that might be because we havent been great at attacking from them- its a lot easier for your keeper to come and collect the ball when everyone is doing their job on their opposite number correctly.

Bain has went slowly down hill since Lenny came in but to be honest he was so good at first it was inevitable he was going to hit a dip in form before he levelled out.

We talking about on the driving range?

Gordon's kicking is atrocious. Regularly straight out the park against a team that presses us high.

Bain's kicking got worse at the tail end of the season and it's been gash in pre-season. Definitely been less impressive of late in general.

Gordon shouldn't be a benchmark for our GKs..

I like Bain but wouldn't be against bringing in an upgrade if we can get one.

But, aye its should be last on our list of priorities.

Aye, its still better than Bains.

To be fair to either of them, if we had any players that could win a header and hold the ball up they could maybe afford to play higher percentage balls further away from the byline.

    I like him.

But I have the feeling that once the defence in front of him is sorted and we have our other targets in, the search for another GK will start.

We could do better. But I'm willing to give him the first half of this season again to show his worth. He deserves it.

Vastly under rated going by comments on here.

He’s earned and deserves a chance IMO. He’s a good goalkeeper with some great attributes.

    I like him as well..

Just no sure he'll be suited to a Lenny side..

Made so many more mistakes since Lenny came in than his whole run under the snake.....and I think it's due to the way he wants us to play..

Way down my list of priorities but wouldn’t mind Gordon out and another in to and the least challenge..

His best attribute and the only one you could say that he was without doubt an improvement over Gordon in was his distribution.

If we’re not going to use it then we need a new GK.

I was one of Gordon's biggest critics but that was under Rodgers when we played out from the back constantly. I Can't help think that Gordon suits Lennon's style of football better than Bain?

Also a massive critic of Gordon but I have to agree here.
