He’s not good enough to be first choice long term.

Thought he done well , no chance with the goals and wouldn't think any other keeper we've had last 20/25 years who's as good as recycling the ball as we spend 70% ball possession in defence ffs

Am sick of worrying about wether a keeper can pass the ball to be honest.
I want a keeper that’ll make the difference in Europe.

Forster kept us in game by himself and he couldn’t kick a ball to save himself.

It's all very well having a goalkeeper that can pass the ball (and I think Bain can), but what's the point in doing so when the back 4 can't and aren't comfortable in possession?

When you have Simunovic, Boyata and Izaguirre in front of you i'd be amazed if any keeper kept their cool, could of had De Gea in goals and our defence would of shat it when they came forward.

It's either him of Gordon but, there's no chance we go out in the summer and properly scout a GK, * i doubt if we'll be able to get CB's in before the Qualifiers.

I hope that 'goal' he conceded was because he was claiming for a handball because that was a dreadful attempt at a save.

Other than that, which didn't count anyway, did well enough.

It was concerning how everyone turned off and stood with their hands up expecting the call to come. His visibility was blocked a bit.

His save in the first half from the other offside effort was more impressive.

I think people were harsh with him on thursday, i still like him and think he's good enough to properly challenge for first choice in the summer, assuming we get a new GK of course.

I had him in the same bracket as Zaluska really good number 2 but not a strong enough number 1. I don't think he can do much more to prove me wrong

I didn’t see or hear any criticism of him after Thursday?

He’s already proven he’s a far superior keeper to Zaluska.

As everyone and their uncle knows,I'm a big fan of Craig Gordon.
I'll hold my hands up right now and say Scott has been top notch since he came in and deserves to be our no 1 for the foreseeable future.

I probably should of been more blunt, it's been ok on here, but on twitter and a few other celtic sites i seen a lot of people saying "told you he wasn't good" and "not good enough", which i thought was harsh.

He's earned the starting spot. I feel far more confident with Bain between the sticks than Craig Gordon. You can't really argue against his domestic record, think it's something like 1 goal conceded in 14 games so there's no reason to replace him.
